 Assists with recordkeeping related to employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.

  • Assists with administering pre and post-employment documentation, testing, background checks, training and uniform ordering;
  • Assists in administering and communicating the company's benefits programs including health and welfare (medical, dental, vision, prescription, life insurance, disability, AD&D, EAP) and retirement plans in regard to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements;
  • Assists employees with enrollment, eligibility, payroll deduction and benefit claim inquiries via telephone and email;
  • Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses;
  • Answers DOL unemployment inquiries, prepares Separation Notices and completes verification of employment requests for employees;
  • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons;
  • Assists in maintaining the Valiant/Vision database as it pertains to HR input for assigned contracts.
  • Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and collating.  


  • Must have at least 1-2 years strong administrative background with prior human resources and benefits training and/or experience preferred
  • Possession of high school diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision
  • Must maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion
