Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities may include the following:

  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines the nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Responsible for incoming telephone calls, including determining purpose of callers, forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department; taking and delivering messages; answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information  

  • Provides employment applications to walk-in applicants and assists in processing
  • Assists with coordinating applicant interviews with the HR Manager

  • Performs other clerical duties as needed, including typing, copying, faxing, etc.
  • Orders and maintains accurate inventory of office equipment and supplies
  • Assists the HR Manager and Assistant with HR logs, new hire processing, uniform ordering/distribution, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years receptionist experience and prior human resources training and/or experience preferred
  • Possession of high school diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimum supervision
  • Professional appearance and customer-service focus
