Walden Security is actively seeking Training Manager in Knoxville, TN. In addition to our people first culture, we also take care of you by providing:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Regional Vice President of Operations or Director of Training:
Education and/or Experience: 3+ years performing successfully in a related role or 1+ years’ experience with an associates’ degree (or higher). Security industry and/or military experience highly preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications: Tennessee Certified Security Guard Trainer License NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, CPR/AED Instructor Certification (or the ability to obtain the certifications within 1 month of hire date).
Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Tennessee Armed Security Officer License, Expandable Baton Instructor Certification, Handcuff Instructor Certification, OCAT (Pepper Spray) Instructor Certification, Defensive Tactics Instructor Certification (or the ability to obtain the certifications within 1 month of hire date).
Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Computer Skills: MS Office required; LMS experience strongly preferred
Other Qualifications: Ability to obtain multi-State Trainer Certification and other specialized certifications as required; Valid State Driver’s License. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
