  • Responsible for sales in assigned region/territory; Produce sales results in alignment with targeted financial goals while following the Walden Security Sales Process;
  • Prepares list of prospects from leads, internet sites and other accounts; Follows up on leads; Develops and builds relationships with contacts;
  • Contacts and visits prospects to point out advantages of contract security services;
  • Achieves weekly business development activities, including meeting and phone call goals;
  • Obtains pertinent information concerning prospects' past and current contract security usage for use in sales presentation;
  • Prepares bids/proposals submittals for client contracts;
  • Ensure continuous client support and service needs are met by partnering with Branch Operations;
  • Presents and negotiates rates with client; coordinate client contract renewals;
  • May participate in collection of payments due or delinquent;
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database;
  • Attends trade shows and other industry specific events.


Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous business to business sales experience is preferred.  Prefer experience in contract security, other service or temporary industries or military/government sector. 

Language Skills:   Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Computer Skills:   Intermediate to advanced computer skiils, including Microsoft Office products (excel, Word, Outlook); Previous experience using Contact Management systems.
Other Qualifications:  Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.  Must be available for frequent local travel.
